Amsterdam based designer Hilde Tempelman creates unique handpainted pottery, one of a kind accessories, handcrafted bags, scarves, bijoux, paper goods, dolls, pillow covers an other home decorations.

As a skilled fashion designer, she worked many years for the world famous label Oilily. For this brand she designed childrens and ladies wear as well as prints and fabrics.
Today she is still regularly active as a freelance designer in the childrenswear market.
But apart from these fashion activities, she often retreats in her studio to create this world of wonderful and lovingly made items.

She might overpaint romantic vintage crockery with cars, guitars, UFO’s, pistols, animals or even rock stars.Or she makes irregular shaped tiles with gold corrals and decorates teapots and platters with lace-inspired designs.

The bags and accessories are made of refined combinations of new and vintage fabrics, used leather bits and other ‘found materials’. Everything is sold exclusively through her website and in her Amsterdam studio store; Amsterdams smallest department store, only a five minutes walk from Het Rijks museum, Het van Gogh Museum and Het Stedelijk museum
